The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed my work and it was varied and I learned lots of new skills.
My colleagues were very friendly and helpful at Randstad.
My managers were very helpful and gave me support and guidance when required.
I was always busy on a daily basis and had plenty of work to do.
I had a lot of responsibility during my placement along with a manageable amount of workload.
I developed a lot of skills during my placement which will help me now and the training was also very good. I can us all I have learned in my degree and beyond.
The Company
The office was very friendly and it had a good atmosphere.
The placement set up was very well organised by Randstad.
Randstad really invests in their staff, and they give you the opportunity to train in different areas and gain more experience and up skill.
Company Parties/Events
As Randstad is based around the UK there’s lots of opportunity to work in different areas.
The Culture
The placement students along with other staff members had frequent social events on the weekends, so the social scene is really good at randstad.
As I lived at home and commuted it was cheap, however as Randstad is based in city centre it can be quite pricey depending on the area you want to live in.
The nightlife experience is Manchester is great, as there’s something for everyone.
During my placement there wasn’t plenty of opportunity to get involved in activities outside of work, but Randstad do have charitable work and events that you can get involved with.
