The Role
I enjoyed my placement more than i could have ever expected. Their slogan is creatures of conviviality and they really stuck by it having a convivial office where everyone is super friendly and happy to offer you help whenever you need it. I could not recommend this placement enough and it also helps that the office is in chiswick business park which is one of the funnest places to work where they offer numerous festivities within the park throughout the year.
From the first day you are given so many great responsibilities which shows how much of a valued employee you are.
The managers are there to always offer you guidance and help but also let you develop on your own
Incredibly busy every day but that just ensured that i gained the most knowledge from my time at Pernod Ricard UK
As much responsibility as any other full time employee within the company and given the oppurtunity t work on real life business wide projects.
They assissted me as i now have real life, first hand knowledge which i can applicate to my final year of studies.
The Company
Conivial
Incredibly organised
They could have invested in us more but it makes sense for them not to have as theres no guarantee they will see a return on their invest, with specific training courses.
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
For me personally, very good as they have hired 6 previous finance interns so the oppurtunity is quite high for me.
The Culture
Yes we went on numerous placement nights out and have definitely got some friends from my year here
i lived at home so thankfully wasnt too expensive for me but london can be a very expensive area
easy access to anywhere in london so you cant complain about not having oppurtunities for a good night out
i regularly played 5-a side footbal every tuesday which the company organises
