The Role
The work I was given was often repetitive and boring. This could have been completed by anyone and did not utilise my skills or insight as an undergrad. There was little information provided that was relevant to the role I ended up doing for the year, if accurately described I may not have applied. This role has made me hesitant to apply for any more work within recruitment in the future, or indeed any similar graduate programs.
On the whole I was given a large amount of respect from my peers who all valued me equally. It was often forgotten that I would only be there for a year, which was lovely. However the work I was set allowed little room for growth and development and was not conducive to further learning.
The Company
Whilst my team were friendly and warm. Different teams often felt separate and would only chat if you needed to work with them.
I was given basic training to complete my role. Whilst I was included in training sessions they were often not targeted to my work.
I want to work in a completely different role and would never work in recruitment again.
The Culture
We had one team night out in 12 months.
