About You
The virtual experience was intimidating at first but the programme was structured in a way that helped interns engage and network. Every meeting had Q&a session which helped us to clear up all of our personal doubts. Apart from that, the second week was division specific which was even more insightful. It gave us the opportunity to interact with graduates working in our divisions as well.
The culture of the firm was very warm and inclusive. There was a special focus on inclusion and diversity which made everyone feel valued.
The support throughout the scheme was extremely good. Every intern had a buddy who was a graduate working in the bank. It helped us ask personal questions and connect as well.
For me personally I learnt a lot because we had sessions on financial well-being, maximising potential and mental health as well. Each session was extremely helpful in its own way and I’m sure that these skills would help me a lot at university as well.
The Company
The structure was very well defined. The first , third and fourth week were general to all of the interns and the second was programme specific.
The atmosphere was very inclusive and warm.
The company invested a lot of time into developing skills and training interns virtually. We had special sessions on maximising our potential which inspired us to go out of our comfort zone. A session on social media awareness was organized as well. Furthermore, a lot of time was invested in making sure that we were learning along the way via the means of surveys and feedbacks.
Since the programme was completely virtual it was hard to know whether we’ll be able to gain a real experience of what it’s like to actually work with the firm. But through the help of graduates already working there we were able to get a realistic insight into they day to day activities and roles.
The virtual setting did not lack on delivering the company culture in any way.
Highly valuable.
Everything Else
I was fully paid for my internship.
Yes there were virtual coffee sessions which were highly encouraged.
Very good
We did through the graduates working there.
