About You
It was really insightful and now I have a more clear idea about Jefferies, its values, and its objectives. Overall I had the invaluable opportunity to connect with professionals, speakers, and motivated students. I recommend this experience to every university student because, by doing so, you will understand what skills you need to improve. At last, I would have liked more time for Q&A because some people haven't exposed their questions because the time was over.
Since the beginning, I felt really comfortable with the firm because speakers talked about specific firm topics that interested me a lot. Without noticing, I entered their world, their values and their network.
I received everything I needed in order to make the virtual experience simple, usable, accessible, and intuitive.
A lot since, after the virtual experience, now I perfectly know which skills I need to improve in order to maximize my possibility to receive an offer for a summer Internship (In general, for my career in Investment Banking).
The Company
It was divided into more session (it was long 4 hours with a little break of 10 minutes in the middle). The fact the virtual experience was divided into more session, it fueled my attention as they often changed speakers
It was quiet and peaceful, but at the same time exciting.
A lot. They said that at the beginning of the program (summer internship) every summer analyst received training that cover every single notion is required for that division.
They explain that very clearly: In particular, some speakers (employers) described their typical day at Jefferies in every aspect under different points of view.
A lot. It was so insightful, clear, and interesting.
Quite useless because, before the virtual experience, I had already chosen my future career path, but this virtual experience helped me to reinforce my idea and thoughts.
Everything Else
It was virtual experience
Absolutely. After the virtual experience I connected with some speakers, recruiters, and students from around the world (still know I'm in touch).
Awesome. As I said before, we had the opportunity to connect each other and we are still in contact.
Yes. For example, social care activities (volunteering) and I am so keen on this.
Absolutely. I earned new skills and improved others. Now I can continue in my career path with more financial knowledge.
