About You
I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and thought it was very informative and well organised, despite it being online. It was a great chance to meet the panelists and to discuss the different career prospects within the financial industry. I learn a lot about investment banking, research, cash equity, and the day in the life of an analyst. Collectively I thought the day was very engaging and I look forward to applying at Jefferies. I appreciate all the hard work into making this event possible.
I feel highly valued and the panelists were very open and welcoming towards answering our questions. I though the team at Jefferies were very friendly and I think that is the main reason I would definitely rate Jefferies with 10 stars. It was exciting to engage with professionals of all levels in the firm and to hear everyones viewpoints. They also addressed a sensitive topic like diversity quite well and made us, as attendees feel welcomed.
Overall, I thought there was a lot of guidance and help offered to us as we were able to communicate with the panelists and ask questions. There were lots of opportunities to ask questions so I did feel that was a huge positive as it provided us with many opportunities to ask a question. We also got to interact with the analysts who provided us great insights about their day. Overall I would definitely recommend this experience to my peers.
I study mathematics so I feel a lot of the I skills learnt are definitely applicable to my degree. Alongside this, I feel that the social skills i learnt through the webinar were also very useful. For instance, interacting with employers is definitely a useful skill to have. I also developed my financial skills during the investment banking talk and learnt a lot more about the progress of the investment banking industry in Jefferies. I am proud to have taken part in the webinar with this firm.
The Company
I thought the event was very well structured and organised. It was organised also very well and also informative. I also think the event was very informative and we got to learn a lot about the different roles within the industry. It was also useful being given the breakdown of the itinerary for the day, so we were always informed about how the day will be structured, this made it easy to refer to the table about who was speaking.
I thought the atmosphere was very welcoming and it was a positive environment to work in. The people were very nice and friendly and it was a happy environment and we were able to ask many questions to the panelists. I think overall I really enjoyed the experience and it was very informative and a great chance to speak to experienced professionals from their field. I would definitely recommend this experience to my peers and friends.

I think it helped me immensely in understanding the culture at Jefferies and their collaborative nature to help each other. They had a huge emphasis on diversity which really resonated with me, and I think this is one of the main reasons I will be applying to Jefferies in the future. The senoir management team in particular were also really friendly and I would be honoured to be a part of their team! I had a great experience.
I think the content provide gave me a great in depth insight as to what each of the professionals entailed. Privileged to have the in depth explanations about the different roles in the firm and to have been given this opportunity.
