About You
Jefferies provided an incredibly insightful and well organised day where I was able to hear from Junior to Senior level employees and discuss their business divisions. Speakers from all front office divisions were present and gave an overview fo their role and also their current business.
This was a virtual event and so we were given the opportunity to ask questions which was great.
The virtual experience was well led and the appropriate guidance for the day was given. As this was an insight event, support was necessary as we didn't have tasks.
I developed great virtual networking skills through this opportunity, and that is a skill that is becoming more and more valuable these days.
The Company
Very well structured. We were given a schedule at the start of the day, and the day ran on time.
All the employees came across with genuine integrity and passion for the business which I appreciate a lot. There was a big focus on the value of diversity within Jefferies which I personally find very motivating.
They offered the opportunity to learn in about the positions within the company with is valuable training.
Considering the length of the event they covered useful core tasks.
The most valuable part of the day was hearing about the inclusive and entrepreneurial culture at Jefferies.
Very informative and it confirmed my decision to apply to IB.
Everything Else
It was a virtual event so this was not necessary.
Yes, throughout the event there were opportunities to network and ask questions.
Very good networking opportunities.
They talked about the societies and initiatives which have mentorship programmes.
