About You
The virtual experience was collectively exhaustive with many facets of IBD and equity markets covered by a wide range of panelists.
The entry question already made me feel like a valued individual, even if it was before selection to be part of the event. Their thoughtfulness in developing a question that will not result in standardised, monotonous answers reflected their dedication to ensuring the uniqueness of each candidate is recognised.
Guidance through each session was sufficient with enough panelist’s providing varied views on the topics discussed. Great insights provided with a few case study mentions.
The information received will definitely play a part in my career path as I seek to explore potential opportunities before cementing my place in any role.
The Company
Overall structure was good but with the breakout rooms not working, there was a slight lack of a personal touch. Perhaps a smaller cohort would be better next time around.
Good atmosphere with very keen candidates taking part and equally keen panelist’s answers all our questions.
Not entirely relevant for this event beyond the panelist’s they sourced and presented to us for the session. Otherwise with the event being virtual, not a lot personal training was conducted.
The range of panelist’s were of different divisions and their passion for their role was clearly conveyed through their presentations and their answers. They truly embodied the culture of the firm and gave a good reflection of what the dynamics would be like when working at Jefferies.
Everything Else
Not applicable for this event due the event not being a networking session.
