About You
It was an incredibly interesting and engaging experience and I learnt a huge amount over a short period.
Throughout the virtual program I was continuously asked how I was finding it and was always offered support and guidance. I did not feel like an intern at all and instead felt part of the team from day one. It was incredibly uplifting to be treated like this.
Considering the last minute change to a virtual experience, the efforts to ensure I received as much support as possible was outstanding. It was very reassuring to know that there would always be someone to support me if I needed it.
Being able to have conversations with team members at the top of their field was incredibly rewarding and allowed me to gain a great understanding of the sector. Hearing about their experiences has allowed me to gain a much clearer understanding of how to develop my skill set and improve my overall employability. The information I received has allowed me to focus my career ambitions.
The Company
Incredibly well structured and well organised. Very quick and concise information was provided when needed and replies to any questions were answered almost immediately. The classes/sessions were very interesting and covered a huge range of information, skill development and self improvement.
I was fairly nervous at the beginning, especially being on a zoom call with so many people I did not know. However the atmosphere was very friendly and engaging and I quickly settled in.
The presentations and teach-in classes held were very engaging and interesting and it was clear Natwest were investing heavily in us.
A virtual program is always going to be more difficult for understanding and experiencing the full time role, however, the sessions during week 2 allowed me to fully understand what a full time role would entail and the presentations were very open and honest and gave a very detailed descriptions of each role.
The company culture was very clear from the start and was maintained throughout the experience.
Considering the last minute change to a virtual experience, I found the experience incredibly informative and allowed me to gain a huge understanding of how I want to develop my career.
Everything Else
I was paid the full amount that I would have been if the experience was not made virtual.
Personally I thought the opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company was what stood out for me. I was able to speak to members of all departments and have one on one conversations to ask any questions. For me this was the best thing about the program and I felt very fortunate to have such an engaging networking experience.
The one on one opportunities were incredibly rewarding and I felt I was always able to ask any question. Considering this was an online experience I was very impressed with how the social events were organised.
Yes this was made clear and I also made sure to take part in the activities that were available during my time on the program.
Yes most definitely!
