About You
Being involved in the EMEA Next Generation Diversity Symposium was very insightful and a valuable experience. In particular I really involved hearing about the day in the life of an analyst. It provided me with more knowledge about what it was like working at Jefferies and how much trust analysts in the company are given. I also really enjoyed hearing about how the firm are tackling inequality within the work place, and was very impressed by the measures the firm are taking.
While I wasn't apart of the firm, I am under the impression from what I heard employees are really valued and cared for.
The hosts were very helpful. There were slight technical issues but we were regularly informed on updates to the problem.
The information received has really motivated me to keep working hard in my studies and gave me valuable knowledge on applying for summer internships and what divisions and firms are looking for in a candidate.
The Company
Very well structured. We got a timetable at the start which we could constantly refer back to. There was a slight technical difficulty in the middle of the Symposium but was swiftly taken care of.
Very upbeat and informative. The hosts provided a very energetic and lively afternoon. You could really see how passionate the employees were.
NA
The firm gave a very strong outline of what working for Jefferies would entail.
Helped me understand different sectors of the firm and made me realise what was important for within a company environment.
Everything Else
Had QandA sections. No interaction with other participants.
Wasn't much networking opportunities.
Was very insightful!
