About You
The virtual vacation scheme was very enjoyable. It had a good variety of tasks to complete, presentations, and catch ups with employees at the firm to build a more personable relationship.
Everyone was so friendly during the vacation scheme so were always available to assist when needed.
The Company
The virtual vacation scheme was very structured. It was very clear what you were going to be doing at what time.
Everyone was really supportive during the virtual vacation scheme. this included both graduate recruitment who were always available to answer any questions both during the scheme and beforehand, as well as both my supervisors and buddies.
Due to time constraints, I think it was difficult for the firm to fully showcase what it would be like having a full time role with the firm. However, with the time we had, I think they did a really good job in showing us a variety of tasks that would be expected of a trainee solicitor.
There were multiple opportunities to interact with different people at the firm as you were given a different supervisor and buddy for each practice area. Thus, you were able to understand the company culture by interacting with a variety of people.
