  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • My role really helped me explore other areas of the bank and I learned loads!

    • I got really close with my team and it was very very hard to say good bye at the end!

    • My managers were very supported. When I made it clear that I wanted to work for UBS when I got back to the states, my line manager went out of her way to help me network with managers in the states.

    • Sometimes I did have to find things for myself to do.

    • I was given the duties of other full time/permanent hires

    • It was kinda quiet.

    • There were events organized but I feel like there could've been more of an effort made to engage efforts.

    • They really gave me free rein of the place. I could sign up for any classes I want (both externally and internally) and they made sure that I was always learning.

    • We had a huge group that frequently went out.

    • Lots of bars around broad gate...great for going out after work.
