The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed it and I have met many amazing people.
I felt valued by my colleagues and included as part of the team.
I was given support and guidance by my managers and peers. They were always available to listen to any queries I had and checked up on me regularly.
Very busy, there was no time to be bored in this job, which I prefer!
A lot! I was part of a larger team, but also managed my own work myself, which I enjoyed.
My placement at Randstad has allowed me to gain valuable knowledge of the business world. Furthermore, it has prepared me for my final year of university and also for any future graduate jobs.
The Company
It was pleasant and upbeat. There was always something happening and a good community spirit.
It was very well organised.
I had a weeks training when I first started down in Luton. Then the rest of the training was on the job, which was effective too.
Financial Bonus
I have been told that after I graduate there will be opportunities for me to come back and work for Randstad again, which I would love to do!
The Culture
There was a great social scene and lots of young people. I have made many great friends.
It was not too expensive as I shared an apartment with my friend from university who was also doing a placement in Manchester.
It was great and there is definitely something for everyone.
Yes, there was the yearly conference. This was a lot of fun. I also went on a trip to the Newcastle office.
