About You
My experience was in the Paris office where I interned in a desk handling both tasks from sales to trading. The internship was a learning experience for me, and enabled me to gain an insight about the asset class I was working on. My manager was availeble to answer my queries 24/7 which I really appreciate. One drawback: the internship was virtual meaning we had less face to face interaction and also provided room for some misunderstandings.
Since the start of the internship
Everyone was there to provide us with the necessary help needed. IT/HR did a great job in this regard.
The Company
The internship combined both learning by doing and some activities that enabled us to reach out to others peer interns as well as managers. This made the general experience enjoyable.
3 weeks of intensive trainings about financial markets and all necessary topics in this field. Bank of America really equipped with the necessary tool to make this internship a successful one.
Yes, throughout networking sessions that are aiming at connecting intern with people in different desk. Presentations of the desk were provided by the highly experienced professionals and questions were welcomed. Furthermore, HR were really available to answer all the questions we had.
Everything Else
High salary
Due to Covid 19, we could not meet employees outside. However, HR made many efforts to connect us virtually with BofA's employees
