The Role
Despite the challenging circumstances the work environment was made enjoyable by the people in Bank of America. Duties were various in nature and the work structure was very dynamical.
Many colleagues reached out spontaneously, and all the others contacted were amazingly kind and available in jumping in a call and providing insight.
My buddy, mentor, and development officer were all incredibly supportive and available.
The work-life balance was very good. The 55-hour weekly cap limited sometimes the activity as it did not allow to assist the team after 8pm.
I feel I was given as much responsibility as possible considering the short duration of the internship, the virtual nature of it, and the limited access to MNPI.
What I learned in these few weeks will have an invaluable impact on my financial background knowledge.
The Company
Very positive and engaging.
Considering the peculiar nature of this year's internship, the organisation was almost spotless.
The three-week initial period consisting of induction and training was crucial in providing us with the right tools to tackle the remainder of the internship.
Flexi Time
Working from home
The Culture
The interns' cohort was very tight-knit.
Not applicable because of the virtual nature of the internship.
