About You
I found the insight very engaging as it gave a thorough oversight of the departments at Bloomberg and the day-to-day jobs of some of the key roles.
I felt very valued during my 3 days with Bloomberg. The level of detail that the speakers went into during the insight week meant that I was able to garner a real insight into what went on at the firm. We were encouraged to ask as many questions as possible which meant that we got a lot out of the program.
We received a lot of guidance/support all the way through the three days and the insight week manager was a very engaging and easy person to reach out to with any questions we had.
I believe that the skills received as part of the wider process (including the Bloomberg Market Concepts course) are genuinely applicable to what I will return to do at my master's degree in the following semester.
The Company
Very well structured over the three days.
Very pleasant and engaging atmosphere, it was an "open" environment which meant that it was very pleasant.
The BMC Course was very generous in the detail that it went in to.
Very insightful.
It gave an eye-opening experience of the company culture.
It feels very valuable in enabling me to decide on my future career path.
Everything Else
Not necessary as the event was virtual.
Yes, several opportunities to meet current interns as well as former interns who had developed within the firm.
Although limited by the virtual nature of an "online event", they were valuable video conferences where we discussed Ice breakers and valuable experience.
Yes a lot of detail into Bloomberg Philanthropy activities.
Yes, very much so.
