    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was a very good internship despite being all virtual. Everything was well set up and the firm very helpful. The only regret is that we couldn't meet the business divisions and people at the office.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Very good interactions with the desks, always available and helpful

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • If you have any questions they will be here, but you also have to be proactive because they can't know how much of work you have to do.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • It depends on the day/weeks, sometimes you work a lot but the next morning can be easier, it is globally well balanced.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • At least once trade idea by week for the desk and group presentations as well

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • It greatly depends on your background, but you can definitely tailor your training with the desk so I think it is greatly valuable and I will remember some of the training for a long time.

    5/5

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • 3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Nightlife is more shifted toward working than having some beers

    1/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Because of the remote internship, but I'm sure in normal conditions there is plenty of them
