The Role
If you like coding you will enjoy this placement. I wanted a placement with a lot of coding tasks and I got exactly what I asked for.
They were always kind and caring. My work was valued greatly.
May it be work-related help or getting lifts, everyone was very helpful.
I never had massive tasks or huge, critical deadlines. It was a smooth sailing placement.
You are given the option to take more if you like but by default, you were given a moderate amount of work.
All the skills I learnt during the placement will help me learn things easier at University and help me with the jobs I might get in the future.
The Company
There weren't many rules and there was no one to police you. It was quite a laid back office.
You just became a member of the company's workforce so it is quite structured.
Learning was always a part of my placement.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
The Culture
It was moderate.
Not very good
Not too many things. Just a few sports and cinema.
