About You
The experience was good as the program was not too intensive and plenty of free time was left for networking.
I received talks from junior and senior employees including the CEO. I saw every main business and all front office roles. I was not able to do work for a desk.
I received all the support I needed and HR was quick in implementing my feedback.
My skills developed and information I received gave a lot of context to my studies which was useful.
The Company
The experience was very well structured as we kept being busy.
The atmosphere as much as it was remotely was very good.
I had 1 week of general training and plenty of employees were open to explain things to me.
Yes it did, but I did not do real work nor did I rotate at a desk.
By speaking to employees from different businesses.
I already know I want to work in finance and this reinforced this.
Everything Else
Plenty
It was all on my own efforts not a lot of networking/social events due to virtual nature. There were 2 pubquizzes for interns and two virtual coffees with employees.
Yes about volunteer work, drinks and sports.
It was good and better than other banks' program given this intensity. Nonetheless, a in-office experience is much better.
