The Role
The experience has been very enjoyable so far. Group sessions were insightful, and everyone was always very collaborative and helpful. I did not struggle to be socially included even though it was 100% remotely held.
I did not expect the attention and caring that colleagues gave me, also due to the fact that the pandemic has made the whole experience a lot more difficult.
Supervisors were very busy, but I am confident that everyone tried to do their best to deliver support and guidance to me and the other interns.
Time management was quite autonomous, one could spend the whole day doing nothing or schedule meetings and experiences on his/her own. I believe this kind of responsibility could maybe make some less proactive people do nothing, but in my case I managed to have full days without however feeling like my time was stolen by duties.
Responsibility was not part of the expectations set up by my supervisors, apart from the usual privacy and consciousness behavior advice.
I think the social and organizational skills acquired will be very helpful in the future. For what concerns the few technicalities I came across, probably might be useful only in terms of having already seen that software/platform/... .
The Company
The office was actually virtual, but in daily meetings the atmosphere was kind, professional and target oriented. Colleagues communicated a lot and explained concerns, fixes, issues.
The set up was above average, but not astonishing. I would not say it was a fantastic and unforgettable experience, but at the same time, those that arranged it probably did it the best way possible given the situation.
The company surely invested on me, I was given tools and knowledge with almost no limit.

Working from home
Future employment prospects are appealing in any sector. Obviously, every opportunity would need evaluation of growth opportunities.
