The Role
I really enjoyed my time here at MSD Cramlington; I'd definitely come back.
We have an initiative called "inclusion" on site. This is a tool that helps people get to know each other, address misunderstandings and creats a sense of value within colleagues.
I have a personal mentor who has done everything within her power to help me, stretch me and encourage me.
I feel I have had a good level of work. I have several large projects which mean I can work under my own steam, and work to a pace I find suitable.
I was given the oppurtunity to project manage many times.
I have been given lots of additional training, which has really helped my degree and looks great on a CV.
The Company
The office is generally quite friendly, although there wasn't a lot of socialising outside of work. However, while I have been here there have been two all expenses paid company parties, including three course meals and drinks!
We have around 6 interns every year, so the placement program is very smoothed out.
I was given lots of valuable training and many people put time and effort into helping me progress.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Healthcare from home
MSD currently have a recruitment freeze on.
The Culture
We met up outside of work occassionally.
Newcastle has a large student scene, so is set up to find low priced accommodation, and good cheap nights out!
Best nights out in the country!
There are lots of things to do in the local area, but I've found that within work it hasn't been excessively social.
