About You
The virtual intership was cleverly put together and offered a broad range of insights across Unilever which has installed some knowledge and enthusiasm towards working for Unilever.
I was based in Kuala Lumpur and everybody understood that being 7 hours ahead and 6500 miles away from the UK was a challenge in itself. People were genuinely curious to understand me and my experiences.
No problems whatsoever, hands-on solutions for any concerns or issues.
Speaking to executive directors and understanding their thinking, methodology and experiences is something that I can apply in my life, work and studies.
The Company
Very well structured, a clear timeline with no issues.
Joyous, happy and enthuastic. The attitudes which are evidently required to work at Unilever
To some extent indeed, I received feedback for ideas, questions and work that I submitted.
We understood the different departments, the training roadmap and virtual tours which is beneficial for me to comprehend and understand. I see Unilever in a different light since my interview and I believe Unilever and I will in the future obtain positive bilateral outcomes.
Extremely helpful on the premise the values and vision were reciprocated throughout the day then filtered across many roles, divisions and nations throughout the company.
Very valuable because I can say with confidence, I will feel safe, motivated and enthusiastic to make the next stage in my life where I sympathise with a lot of students who face some ambiguity around their future.
Everything Else
It was a virtual insight so no expenses.
Plentiful opportunities to meet future colleagues from undergraduate-level and entry-level jobs to C-Suite level.
Relaxing, non-pressured and an almost 'Be yourself' atmosphere around the networking and social events opportunities which is really good to see.
Yes, I understood employees respective disciplines and universities they attend. I also understood that most people at Unilever have a keen interest in sport and outdoor activities with others quite keen to commit their time to philanthropy.
Absolutely.
