About You
The vacation scheme was very well organised. Everyone involved had set out time to talk to us properly when explaining the work or having a general conversation about the firm. Also, the graduate recruitment team had sent out a lot of information about how the scheme would be run before hand. This made me feel less nervous before starting the vacation scheme. Moreover, everyone at the firm was very approachable so if there were any problems with technology then it was easy to contact people to sort out the problem.
I felt like the firm valued the vacation scheme students very highly. At no point did I feel like I was getting in the way of anyone or being a hassle when I contacted someone to ask for help. I was in the firm's People, Reward and Mobility team which was very busy when I was there but they still answered all my emails and calls when I needed help. They were also very happy to have a general conversation with me about the firm or offer me advice outside the scheme's normal working hours.
The Company
