The Role
I really enjoyed my placement at TUI, it was a big jump from being in full time education but I learnt so much!
Colleagues were very supportive throughout my placement.
The support I received with amazing from all levels of management
Busy but a good level
This is a full time job with real responsibility that is comparable to other colleagues within the department.
The skills I learnt were invaluable!
The Company
Great atmosphere, can be intense at times.
Very well organised by the L&D team, plenty of social activities and development meetings
Plenty of development opportunities within the placement year if you put yourself out there.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Travel loan
Due to COVID the chances of future employment were limited, however without this, prospects would have been very good.
The Culture
Great social scene!
Cost of living was high, but it was expected in an area this close to London.
St Albans and Harpenden as well as London are all close by for good nightlife.
Football club and social activities are regularly organised.
