About You
The internship was very interesting and jam packed with brilliant sessions throughout, and I think that EY really did the best with the circumstances (i.e. it being online rather than in the office).
The company made me feel very welcome and was therefore even more enjoyable - I think the only reason I wouldn't provide a 10 rating is just as it was harder to connect with it being virtual.
We were sent many emails and given lots of feedback throughout which was very helpful.
I think that the information provided to us was very educational and we got some material that I feel gets overlooked in University so it was very insightful.
The Company
The days were planned out very well which felt good as it was nice to have a routine when 'working at home'.
The atmosphere was good due to all the sessions and tasks - the atmosphere again unfortunately would've been enhanced by being in person but I feel that given the nature of the internship this was still very good.
We were thoroughly educated on our area of interest throughout the week!
The virtual experience gave a good insight but I feel to have a proper idea of day-to-day work in the company you would need to be in the office.
The company prides itself on its inclusive culture and this was shown throughout with different sessions and an insight in to the networks (clubs) ran by EY staff.
The content definitely gave me a much better idea of what the role includes.
Everything Else
Being paid for very invaluable experience which is brilliant.
Yes! We got to connect with so many staff members and even staff specific to our own regions in order to give us an opportunity for questions.
We were educated on the different events held and got to speak to lots of staff.
We were given a full insightful session into this and the different ways EY aims to enhance work.
I think given the circumstances of a virtual experience EY were brilliant.
