    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the virtual experience?
  • The internship was very interesting and jam packed with brilliant sessions throughout, and I think that EY really did the best with the circumstances (i.e. it being online rather than in the office).

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • The company made me feel very welcome and was therefore even more enjoyable - I think the only reason I wouldn't provide a 10 rating is just as it was harder to connect with it being virtual.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the virtual experience?
  • We were sent many emails and given lots of feedback throughout which was very helpful.

    3/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I think that the information provided to us was very educational and we got some material that I feel gets overlooked in University so it was very insightful.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the virtual experience?
  • The days were planned out very well which felt good as it was nice to have a routine when 'working at home'.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your virtual experience?
  • The atmosphere was good due to all the sessions and tasks - the atmosphere again unfortunately would've been enhanced by being in person but I feel that given the nature of the internship this was still very good.

    4/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • We were thoroughly educated on our area of interest throughout the week!

    5/5

  • 8. To what extent did the virtual experience help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • The virtual experience gave a good insight but I feel to have a proper idea of day-to-day work in the company you would need to be in the office.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the virtual experience help you in understanding the company culture?
  • The company prides itself on its inclusive culture and this was shown throughout with different sessions and an insight in to the networks (clubs) ran by EY staff.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • The content definitely gave me a much better idea of what the role includes.

    4/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Being paid for very invaluable experience which is brilliant.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Yes! We got to connect with so many staff members and even staff specific to our own regions in order to give us an opportunity for questions.

    3/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • We were educated on the different events held and got to speak to lots of staff.

    4/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • We were given a full insightful session into this and the different ways EY aims to enhance work.

    5/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this virtual experience to a friend?
  • I think given the circumstances of a virtual experience EY were brilliant.

    5/5
