About You
I really enjoyed the virtual internship with EY. We took part in numerous activities including interactive talks and group work.
EY allowed all interns to ask questions during the sessions and also were easy to contact if we were having any difficulties.
We received a lot of support during our virtual experience and the EY employees running the sessions were great at answering our questions and helping us if we were struggling.
I am joining EY next year as a graduate so the information that was provided to me was especially helpful in giving me a better view of how the company operates and what I can expect when I join next year.
The Company
The virtual experience was structured very well and we always knew what session was next from the agenda.
Everyone taking part in the virtual experience was very positive and wanted to learn. The EY employees were also great at keeping the positive atmosphere during each session.
EY invested a lot of time and energy into this virtual internship as a lot of companies ended up not doing there’s. I am glad that EY decided to do there’s as it was very insightful and will make joining next year easier.
We were given talks on various parts of the jobs including what it is like working in assurance to the different groups and networks we can join. This was helpful as it showed us how many opportunities and activities were available to us at EY.
EY knows how important people are to the company and they showed this numerous times during the virtual internship. The EY employees also worked very well together and were always there to help if anyone was having any issues.
The content presented to us was very valuable in helping me decide what career path I want to do in the future. I really enjoyed doing the group case study as it gave me an insight into what working on an audit would be like in the future.
Everything Else
There were opportunities to ask questions to the EY employees running the sessions as well as meeting our buddies for when we join on a graduate job. It was also useful to meet those in the case study group work as I will be working with them in the future.
The networking opportunities were very insightful and it gave us a look into the company from numerous viewpoints. It was also useful to ask questions to members of staff who had a good knowledge on the area they were working.
Yes, we were told about all the different EY networks that we are able to join once we start our jobs. My buddy also told me about all the different social activities that are run in the office.
Yes, it was very insightful and I would recommend this virtual internship to anyone who is looking to get involved with accounting and finance in the future.
