The Role
Really well organised with a clear structure and it was easy to transition between different parts of the day
Really good ice breaker activities and quizzes every morning with some fun questions - maybe some time to meet interns (other than just case study groups) would have improved the social aspect of the internship
Lots - always had someone to answer questions. Opportunity for a 1-1 buddy session was great and a group mentor for case study presentation was very helpful!
Busy taking in lots of information but not too much actual work (1-2 hours on case study every day). I think this was fine and understandable given the duration of the internship and the fact that it has been virtual.
I would say the responsibility was limited due to the nature of the internship this year. The case study was a good opportunity to mimic the kind of work you would have in the actual job
Lots of learning in the week so definitely gained some skills for life. Skills for the workplace such as presenting, but also skills for a better quality of life all round through mindfulness sessions
The Company
Virtual intetnship so N/A. However, organisers tried to create a fun and inclusive atmosphere virtually which was successful
