About You
I really enjoyed being a part of Bloomberg insight week as we had the possibility to get a broad exposure both on company's activities and its employees, even if virtual. I believe the activities and demos we did were really helpful and engaging as it gets you an idea of how a real day at Bloomberg looks like.
I feel really engaged during the week, especially because of the Q&A sessions where we had the possibility to talk more with team leaders. Also, the possibility to use the Terminal enabled us to connect directly to each employee in few minutes.
We have been followed a lot during the week activities and we received lots of Training Sessions, that turned out to be really useful in order to better deal with the different activities. We also received lot of help during project time.
I think the knowledge we built in this week would be very useful in our uni studies and also for our future career, as the Bloomberg Terminal is the platform that most of financial players currently use, so knowing how it functions is definetely an advantage for us.
The Company
Even if it had to be virtual, the insight week was really well organised, as we had almost no time wasted and full-time activities. We got an in-depht exposure to every department on the company, not only the ones we have applied for.
I found the other insighters and the TLs really enjoyable, also the employees we talked to really reflected Bloomberg culture, as collaboration is the first thing you notice about them. You're free to ask any stupid question you might have to any employee, thanks to the Instant chat.
really much, we took part in lots of Training sessions
REally much! we got a 360 degree exposure to all the departments Bloomberg has.
Bloomberg's culture is reflected by its employees. And we also took part in an interesting philantrophy activity.
I think it's good to have a broad exposure to the financial industry at first, and which better way rather then exploring it through Bloomberg Terminal?
Everything Else
No payments because it was virtual
of course, during both presentations and through IB chats. Of course, doing it virtual has its own drawbacks.
I found the networking sessions with the Summer interns in particular really inspiring.
yes, through Bloomberg Philantrophy. There are lots of social and diversity activities within the company.
Definetely! even if you're not interested in the fintech or financial industry, this week is really helpful to get a broad knowledge of it, and full of interesting activities where you can test yourself.
