About You
The Insight Week was very interesting. I had a great time and learnt a lot. The people are really passionate about their jobs. At the end of the week you will definitively want to do a Summer Internship at Bloomberg.
Quickly I realised that Bloomberg invests a lot in its employees and the Insight Week encapsulates that. They really do care about the insighters and provide great trainings !
A lot ! The people at Bloomberg are really helpful and glad to help. You are encouraged to ask any question.
We learnt a lot about the work done at Bloomberg and the values of the company. The presentations covered plenty positions at Bloomberg from Global Data department, Analytics&Sales to the News. We learnt a lot about the clients of Bloomberg but also really cool functions to use with the terminal.
The Company
From Monday to Friday we had plenty of activities and conferences. We started the day at 8.30 am and finished at 18.am with a one hour break at 1 pm and several short breaks. You have to carry out a group project during the week and present it at the end.
People are really kind. You can basically ask anyone a question with the internal message system. Everyone responded to me. The general atmosphere was very cool and the persons running the week are really friendly.
As I said, Bloomberg likes to invest a lot in its employees and even insighters.
We saw every position from "simple" analyst to team leader and managers. We had the possibility to talk with the current summer interns too.
Bloomberg has a very unique culture and the people working there are very passionate about it. On day 1, you will a very complete presentation of it.
Everything Else
The week was virtual due to Covid-19 but the company told me that expenses would be reimbursed in March (when I had the confirmation of my application). However, we had several gifts during the week.
Yes a lot. You are encouraged to send message to everybody !
