About You
Really insightful experience to get to know the company, the roles and its culture
More than valued, I felt like the company really cared about my opinion and interests. They have been always willing to solve any of my doubts or questions.
Fully guided throughout the week, with a team fully dedicated to us and trying to express always what they expect from us.
The top skills developed include: familiarising with Bloomberg terminal and working in teams to complete a project. Both of these skills are useful (and mandatory) for any career in the financial industry. Therefore, it will definetely assist me in the future.
The Company
Extremely structured. We followed a schedule that was provided in advance. However, in some cases we had to skip q5 minute breaks due to lack of time
Despite being a fully online experience, it has not damaged the atmosphere. Everyone (from managers to insighters) looked really motivated and enthusiastic about all activities, presentations and Q&A sessions. Since enthusiasm is contagious, I would qualify the general atmosphere as fantastic
They have assigned a team of (at least) 5 people to us during one week and multiple guest speakers have dedicated part of their working time to answer our questions and do presentations
Most of the activities try to answer this question. We did a couple of activities that emulated what the full time role would be
Throughout the week you get an overview of the company's culture by interacting with employees.
Really useful. After the Insight Week, you know to which department (in case you fit with the company) you want to go.
Everything Else
We were supposed to go to London (with expenses covered) but when moved to virtual, we received some gifts
The whole week's purpose is this one. You can contact everyone you meet.
Really pleasant. We felt like we could ask anything and they would give an honest answer
Yes. Full of philanthropic opportunities
