About You
Too many meetings, little meaningful work to do, and rather unstructured work. Very fragmented days as a result.
Company did not seem to value originality and different opinions.
A reasonable amount of guidance on the intern project.
Not at all with my degree, but equity research knowledge may prove useful in the future.
The Company
Poor structure, with too many meetings and little space for work.
Tense and rather unpleasant.
Numerous training resources provided. The online course was long, but covered many important topics.
Gave me a nearly complete picture of the daily work.
Many sessions focused on the company history and culture, as well as senior speaker events aided in this sense.
The content was relevant in understanding what a career in Asset Management involves, however, I did not find the content particularly useful in developing my investment skills.
Everything Else
Pay is very generous.
Numerous, but had to organise part of them myself.
Almost inexistent - some informal chats at the end of the day.
Yes.
Yes, for anyone interested in institutional asset management, this is a decent experience.
