The Role
The placement programme is an incredibly enjoyable and rewarding experience. Learning and doing new things every day was key to this enjoyment aswell as working with an amazing team.
Being a valued member of the sales team was hugely important. Although, I had a different job title to Graduates in the same team ,I had most of the same responsibilities and therefore felt as part of the team as everyone else.
I was in constant contact with both my line manager and senior Manager who helped me along every step of the way. The support and guidance I received allowed me to grow as a professional learning from both my own mistakes, and the experience of my co-workers.
I never felt Like I had nothing to do in the role. Sales keeps you constantly busy with New challenges and opportunities. Management are key in making sure you are able to balance your workload with other aspects of the job and able to maintain a good work life balance.
I think this placement is very different in how much responsibility and trust is given to placement students to many others I have heard about. I was trusted with the responsibilities as the rest of the sales team.
The time management that you develop with a placement year will undoubtedly help me with my workload going into final year. The skills that have I have learnt will help me in my future career and make me stand out from the crowd with the experience and tools i have gained.
The Company
My team made the office a great place to work. I worked with a great group of people who were incredibly supportive and never short of a laugh. Beer Friday was always a highlight and brought together people from different teams in order to celebrate the week.
The year is organised very well.
The programme is a prestigious and award winning year that focusses on the personal development of all of the placements.

Company Parties/Events
Working from home
the company offer exciting graduate positions.
The Culture
among fellow Students there was always a good social scene which extended to the rest of the colleagues and company events such as the Christmas party.
The costs associated with living near London are sometimes high. However the placement does allow you to do all of the social events and more.
There are a few pubs and restaurants which we sometimes went to as a team in Stokenchurch, but the location of the offices allows you to travel to many places with great nightlife easily such as London and Oxford.
Golf Society was a great initiative that came about on my placement year. there are are also other opportunities such as five a side.
