The Role
I really enjoyed the internship - it has been very insightful and I have learnt a lot both from a personal and a professional point of view.
Bloomberg employees are extremely friendly and nice. Everyone is ready to help and it is very easy to reach them to have a chat (even in a virtual environment :) ). Bloomberg interns are extremely nice and we created a very nice group! We had a lot of fun and everyone was always available to help the others.
I was fully supported by my two mentors, one from Analytics and one from Sales. They were always available to help me out. They also helped me for my group projects. I also received full support from my managers, one from Analytics and one from Sales. They have been a point of contact and support during the whole internship.
During the day we were extremely busy which was very important especially in a virtual environment. The first few weeks we had no free time and we had sessions and trainings the whole day. The last week we had some more free time but, because of the very tight first weeks, we were able to manage it at the best timing. For follow up meetings and shadow session, we had to organize them after work.
You are given a lot of responsibility as soon as you start the internship. You will start calling clients since the second week and this gives you a lot of responsibilities because you are representing Bloomberg.
During the internship, I have improved my time management skills especially when having thigh deadlines. I have also improved my group working skills. I learnt how to be efficient and effective in what I am doing. These are all fundamentals skills that are extremely transferable to studies and beyond

Atmosphere was great! Everyone always enthusiastic and very motivated.
The working days were extremely organised.
Bloomberg invests 100% on his interns. They give you all the tools to learn as much as possible. You need to leverage them and make the most out of the internship weeks.
