The Role
Really enjoyed it. Great company with an incredible culture. All employees are very welcoming and everyone is open to helping you and networking. Interesting to learn about the terminal and the work carried out by the company. Plenty of occasions to socialise as well within the intern cohort and with employees. I would highly recommend it to anyone that is interested in Bloomberg and considering a full time job in it. Really great and rewarding experience.
Every effort is undertaken to make interns feel welcome and appreciated. Everyone is welcoming, available to help, answer questions or just chat. There are plenty of people assigned to making sure you know what you are doing and are looked after, both in terms of work and just general experience. You get the opportunity to work on real projects internally that can be really impactful for the company and have direct and frequent contact with clients.
I was given the right amount of work. Had also some flexibility in terms of when to do what. There were plenty of opportunities to ask for more work or warn superiors if there was too much. Good balance
The right amount. I was contacting clients on a daily basis, worked on impactful internal projects and generally trusted to do real and important work.
Some are more specific skills such as learning about the Terminal. However, plenty of transferrable skills such as cold/warm calling, presentation, teamwork, interacting with management and others.
The Company
Virtual internship but a lot was done to make us feel welcome and learn about the culture.
Very well organised
Other than the significant salary, there was plenty of training in how to use the Terminal and learning about internal processes.
Working from home
Very cool company with incredible culture. Great place to work.
The Culture
As much as virtual work would allow, there were plenty of events and occasions organised to meet other interns and employees.
Virtual internship.
Virtual internship.
Virtual internship. As many activities organised as possible under the circumstances.
