The Role
I enjoyed my time with BSH more than I thought I would when I first started it. The role I did in Supply Chain was a challenging role to say the least but the pressure and responsibility placed upon me meant was treated like a normal employee which made me feel like a genuine part of a very hard working team.
I felt part of the team and just like another member. I wasn't treated any differently.
Guidance from management was okay, I got more guidance from the people I worked around who helped me with any issues.
Very busy. There is always work to do. But if there is too much they are good at helping you with it.
I was given the responsibility of a normal employee once I was up to speed.
The skills and knowledge I haven leant has far exceed my expectations.
The Company
Generally a good atmosphere but can be tense at times due to the pressure.
Slow to get going in to my placement with the set up of my equipment but fine after that.
Plenty of opportunities and chances to improve if you ask.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Depends upon the department and headcount.
The Culture
Not a great social scene due to the lack of student life in the area.
Fairly cheap.
Quite poor and expensive due to the lack of students.
a couple a year at the most.
