The Role
A very valuable experience!
People in the department were all very willing to chat to me just because I happened to be there
Supervisors were very supportive, always there to answer my questions or explain what they were doing
This programme kept me very busy!
I was given a project to do which was a great learning experience, and on top of that was able to work on slides that may actually be used in a real presentation.
Developed skills such as presenting which will no doubt be useful in the future.
The Company
I was surprised that the atmosphere was more relaxed than I thought it would be
HR did an amazing job, the structure of the programme was great with a good mix of time with the business and a few presentations and networking events
The fact that a very senior person personally asked to speak to some of us spring interns I think speaks volumes about how the firm supports its (potential) employees
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Citi offers fast track opportunities
The Culture
Only a week so not much of a chance to find out about the social scene
London is expensive, but hotel was provided and most expenses paid for
Only there for a week, so no chance to experience this
