The Role
It was a great experience, both fun and informative. The workshops and presentations were interesting and the atmosphere was very friendly.
Everybody was really friendly and helpful, keen to talk to me. I met there some wonderful people, both amongst other participants and Citi emloyees.
The supervisors were helpful and I could ask them questions at any time. They also helped us improve our cv's and cover letters.
Every day was extremely busy and very long, which was quite tiring.
The programme didn't involve much responsibility, as it was rather informative event, not task-based.
I learned a lot about investment banking both through presentations and networking. I believe this experience will help me tremendously in my future career.
The Company
The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly, I had lots of fun with other participants.
Things went smoothly with only minor problems, like sessions occasionally running a bit late.
We had very interesting and varied presentations and workshops. We were given the possibility to work shadow. Citi's emloyees of all levels, even very senior people, found time to talk to us and give us valuable advice. We also had numerous occasions for networking.
I learned a lot about Citi and its culture and the company made very good impression on me. I will certainly apply for a position with them.
The Culture
Other participants were very friendly, I met some people I hope to keep in touch.
Citi took care for all our living costs and sponsored our social events.
We didn't really have time to go out after the programme - it was only 3 days and the hours were very long (but there were social events during the hours).
As I already wrote, the hours were very long, so they didn't leave much spare time.
