About You
I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a lot of support from my line manager and team. The Early Careers team provided us with ample opportunity to mix and get to know with other interns (this was especially important as the internship was remote due to Covid 19)
I always felt valued and that the work I had been given was worthwhile and contributed to the work of the team.
My line manager and team members were very supportive.
I was challenged a lot and developed my skills.
The Company
The Early Careers team structured it well.
Very friendly and welcoming.
We received training every week - the company invested a lot in our personal development.
I got invaluable insight into the work of the FCA. My line manager organised chats with people from different departments in the firm. I was also assigned a 'Graduate Buddy' who explained what the graduate scheme was like.
We had 'lunch and learns' where we learned more about the company and the culture.
Invaluable - I am hoping to get a place on the FCA Graduate scheme

It was difficult to do this remotely.
