The Role
Amazing work experience, one of the best companies I could have hoped to work for
Everyone treats you like an equal, even the CEO is down to earth and wiling to make time for the new interns. Input from everyone is valued and taken seriously
The network of support available to interns and grads is outstanding.
A really nice work - life balance; you are not expected to do work outside of the regular 9-5. Taking breaks when necessary is encouraged
As an intern I was given a project that made real company impact, as well as a self contained project just for interns which gave us complete ownership and a chance to explore all stages of releasing a project to production.
Training & onboarding process was excellent, Ive learnt lots of valuable soft skills as well as having been exposed to lots of new technologies that are commonly used as a software developer.
The Company
Despite working remotely during the pandemic, there was so much effort made to create social time and to help the intern cohort get to know each other. Could not have asked for a better working form home experience.
Excellently organised, and what any feedback on what didnt go so well was promptly taken on board to try and find a solution.
They provide lots of support and training sessions, and it is encouraged to ask questions. Really felt like they cared about my personal development just as much as the work I produced
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare/Dental
Travel loan
I would love to work here again!
The Culture
A large network of grads and interns who are all very friendly
There are offices in Central London and Nottingham, so it is possible to chose to live in a more affordable area if wanted.
London offices are a stones throw from lots of nice bars and restaurants in Shoreditch, and a minute away from a tube station for easy travel into central.
I spent two afternoons volunteering with the company in an event in which we hosted a group of primary school children and taught them hoe to code. Even despite the pandemic this was well organised and fulfilling. If we had been able to work in the offices Im sure there would have been many other similar opportunities.
