About You
It was well run and very interactive for a virtual programme, I am just not sure that deals is for me.
They put a lot of effort in with two 1h interviews with senior team members and small group sessions. They definitely wanted us to get a lot out of the programme.
Wouldn't have wanted anything more. Lots of email correspondence and opportunities to ask questions.
Good to get used to interviews virtually and presenting virtually too.
The Company
Could have done with more guidance as to what was happening when. There were also a few annoyingly short breaks.
Very positive and collaborative, no one was competing with one another. All the other girls on the programme were really nice and they gave us opportunities to interact.
Not much more they could have done virtually and in 3 days.
Got to speak to a lot of graduates for around 2h in total. Definitely got a clear picture.
Very good, spoken about by a lot of the employees we were exposed to. They are evidently very proud of creating a great culture.
Got so much insight into what deal advisory is, I have realised it is probably not for me. However, this is also very valuable.
Everything Else
Got to speak to 4 graduates in a small group. It is difficult virtually, could have asked questions to a panel of senior women in DA.
Only chance was when we were completing the group exercise. There were many programme participants I had no contact with at all.
Heard a bit about socials and volunteering opportunities offered by the firm.
Need to actually be interested in DA though, I would recommend finding out what it is first.
