    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the virtual experience?
  • the experience was a solid 10/10. i thoroughly enjoyed the virtual experience and the way it was tailored to our needs, age range and made fun regardless of it being at home. The more i listened the longer i wanted the experience to be. As a young student, i know the feeling of going to insight days etc and leaving disappointed, this experience was the complete opposite. it was personal and motivational. i would sit through it again and again if i could.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Every employee that we spoke to really valued our questions and experiences, regardless of high up or low they are in the firm, everyone listened and was so open to sharing and guiding us. the organisers did perfect in choosing the people we were in contact to.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the virtual experience?
  • as much as i wanted and more. we are so lucky that the organisers were so happy to share and be open with us about everything. Sometimes you feel that you have to ask professional questions that only relate to their role, however with this internship it was completely different, and it was more about the lives of the employees and what we can take fro their experiences. furthermore the assessment centre and feedback we got was one of a kind, the detail and advice was so tailored to you.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • the experience will definitely be of help when applying for future roles, internships an graduate programmes. The skills i developed during the assessment centre were: time keeping, organisational, communication, networking, listening.

  • very well structured to say this experience was meant to be face to face and then had to be cut shorter due to the pandemic, it was amazing.

    3/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your virtual experience?
  • amazing! the organisers really made us feel comfortable and gave us an open space to listen and learn from one another. there was no awkwardness at all.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • we all had our own assessment centre and were given so much advice and feedback that was tailored to our strengths and weaknesses rather than being general. alot of time and hard work was invested in this experience and every part of it proved this.

    5/5

  • 8. To what extent did the virtual experience help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • due to it being virtual, we had to really try and ask questions to give us a feel of this, however because the employees were so open and honest, it definitely allowed me to gain an understanding of what it would be like to have a full time role with the company.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the virtual experience help you in understanding the company culture?
  • it did this very well as it we spoke to employees that were just starting to employees that were their for a decade and so on, they all gave similar response on the culture and values, which reflects how well the values and ethics and enforced at the firm.
