About You
I enjoyed the virtual experience a lot as I learnt a lot more about the FCA and how it promotes competition. As well as this, I networked with people who have a similar mindset to me and gained skills from the assessment centre.
My time was strongly valued as during every session I was given an opportunity to speak and ask questions. Also, I was treated well during the interview stage as I felt comfortable answering all questions.
The support given was amazing. This ranges from the Assessment Centre preparation to the Personal development session where I was able to get tips how to use feedback to the best of my ability.
The skills I've developed range from confidence to being able to conduct myself in an assessment centre environment. This will help me in my degree when preparing presentations and speaking in front of people. Also, the written exercise element will help me analyse written documents quicker.
The Company
The virtual experience was well structured as all the timings of the sessions weren't delayed and the assessment centre ran smoothly as well. Perhaps on the first day some of the sessions over ran, however this wasn't too much of a problem.
The general atmosphere was great as everyone was there to learn and gain knowledge. This was present throughout the three days and really made the experience memorable.
The company invested a lot as it allowed me to gain knowledge regarding my personal brand and how to develop that further. Also, it helped me figure out how to stand out further and stay motivated when applying for internships in the future.
Through the graduate panels, I was able to ask questions to the people who are currently working there and how they feel at the firm. Therefore, it helped create an image on how it feels to work there and how the firm helps bridge the gap between university and working.
The assessment centre helped me understand the company's key values and how my experience relates to those, this also helped me focus on what the firm prioritises.
Very valuable as I know now how it feels to work in the firm and what routes people took to get into the industry.
Everything Else
It was a three day virtual programme hence no expenses were to be reimbursed.
Yes there was. I was able to network during the graduate and BAME panels.
The networking opportunities were amazing as I was able to gain knowledge from other people who are in the same position as me or who was.
I did find out a bit, however more could've been found out.
Yes, I would due to the amount of information I have gained in such a short space of time.
