The Role
It's been a great experience working at bloomberg in London. Although due to the pandemic the internship took place remotely, it was still very fun and rewarding.
I felt like a normal member of the team and everyone was super helpful.
My mentor was always there when I needed help.
I had a fair but manageable amount of work on a daily basis.
My project was related to a very core functionality of my teams product.
The training was very bloomberg focused but we learned a few nice tricks in general.
The Company
Very collaborative and friendly.
Great work from the HR team organizing the remote internship, especially considering that most companies had to cancel theirs.
We had 2 solid weeks of training which I consider to be enough for an internship.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
From what I'm told, if you do well on your internship, it's very likely to get a returning offer.
The Culture
There were plenty of intern events to help us meet each other and socialize.
Worked from home so pretty cheap.
Worked from Greece so...
Plenty, including philanthropies, yoga sessions, cook alongs etc.
