About You
Due to Covid-19 being able to attend a physical scheme was great. I was able to go on many site visits which were enjoyable and experience Savills culture firsthand. Obviously the limited social interaction was a shame but necessary. I could only wish that it was longer!
No instances of ever feeling 'un-valued'.
Obviously my mentors/Heads of teams are extremely busy . However I enjoyed being left to get on with the project set on my own. Any time I felt stuck, I asked my mentor to help and she was more than happy to do so.
Got to experience what is expected of a graduate Surveyor. This allowed me to have a more informed decision about what career path to choose. This experience has also showed me how much work is expected and the importance of a work-life balance.
The Company
A clear structure set out at the start of the week. Through the help of my mentor i then added various site visits etc.
Really enjoyable working atmosphere. A great balance between work/social interactions.
Great to run the placement in these unprecedented times.
Understanding the grad scheme and getting a taste of working life. Gave some insight into a full role - the problem being that it was only a week and therefore my insight has been limited.
Everything Else
yes - however limited by covid.
massively limited by covid. Not Savills fault.
