The Role
I have enjoyed the internship to a large extent. Although i have only been in for 5 days, i have gained a plethora of experience. This is because i have been working on 3 different valuation reports which has provided variety in my work load.
I have felt really valued by all of my colleagues at all levels from graduate to director. Firstly, i have been given responsibility to work on my own reports and been provided with positive feedback. Secondly, i have been integrated into all of the graduate training which has widened my knowledge and also given me an insight into the supportive graduate scheme. Finally, i have been included into all social events within the team including lunches, drinks and the welcome to the team picnic.
I have been given really sound support and guidance. Each task set has been talked through thoroughly. Whenever i have had a question relating to my work someone has always been there to talk me through it.
I have been really busy each day which has been great. Every time i am busy at all times - in meetings, talks, inspections and report writing. This has been a huge benefit in contrast to other work experience where i have not been busy all the time.
I have been given a large amount of responsibility from the outset. This is because i have been able to write and research for 3 reports. From this i have learnt an awful lot.
I have developed lots of skills which are transferable into projects at university. I think the fact that i have been included in the graduate training has been most beneficial as its given me an overview of the graduate training scheme at Savills which i really value.
The Company
the general atmosphere has been really positive. Everyone works very hard but at the same time has a great time socially.
The internship has been really well organised because i have known exactly what i am doing each day. To have a few more intern related events would be great to meet the cohort. However, i appreciate this is not possible in these current times.
The company has invested massively in my personal training in every way which i value alot and can transfer into studies, interviews and later in the work place.

Staff Sales/Staff Shop
The future employment prospect within the organisation is really appealing to me and i will be sure to apply to the graduate scheme this year.
The Culture
Among the fellow placement students there was limited social events but that was inevitable considering the circumstances. However, my team have made up for this by hosting a welcome picnic and inviting me to lunch.
Fairly high because its in London and i had to travel on the tube and buy lunch each day.
