The Role
The summer internship was an amazing experience. I really enjoy the department I was placed in and the work I was set.
What really impressed me about Savills was how approachable everyone was from directors to graduates, everyone was happy to answer any questions I had and made me feel really welcome. I felt valued by my colleagues and they made me feel part of the team.
My mentor went above and beyond to give me all the support and guidance I needed to complete tasks set.
Everyday is different which is what I love about the property industry. I was consistently busy during the summer internship.
I was given a good amount of responsibility during my placement. I was allowed to interact with clients and work on current matters.
During the internship I developed technical terminology and report writing skills that will help me in my real estate modules for the next academic year.
The Company
The atmosphere in the the office is an open and friendly one with the team being professional and entrepreneurial.
The internship was really well organised given these exceptional circumstances. I really enjoyed the departmental overviews via zoom, they gave a great insight into the departments.
During the time I was here I was able to meet people from different departments and discuss their side of the business which helped give me an overview of what they do and how the firm operates. The team I was in set me tasks to give me an overview of what they do which helped me develop my understanding and skills.
The future employment prospects are extremely appealing given the incredible training they offer.
