Summer Scheme Review

I really enjoyed my week at Savills and the team were incredibly supportive, helpful and welcoming. I learnt a lot and would definitely recommend the Insight to someone else.

The team assigned different tasks to me and were always willing to spend time teaching and guiding me through the assigned tasks.

I received guidance when I was being introduced to new tasks but I was also trusted to be left to do things on my own, which built my confidence. However, if I had any questions, the team were always happy to help and explain things to me.

I acquired new skills in terms of problem solving, researching and interacting with clients, which all be useful in my future career.

The insight was well organised and Savills were excellent at keeping me up to date with all the information I required. The interview and application process was straightforward and the HR team kept me well informed of how the week was going to run and what I should expect. We watched presentations from people in other teams which was useful in terms of finding out what other roles existed at the company.

The atmosphere during my placement was great and I loved being able to gain an insight into working life. The team made an effort to make me feel welcome and I always felt like I could ask any questions if I was unsure of something. My team made sure I met people across other teams and I learnt a lot over my time here, even if it was only five days.

I can see that the company has a friendly and welcoming culture and it is clear that all team members are valued.
