About You
I thought it was a great insight into the graduate program which is quite useful. It had interesting sessions and opportunities to engage with the speakers
I did feel valued by the speakers who really cared about our understanding of the programs and telling us about any future opportunities
We had plenty of opportunities to ask question regarding the programs during the insight
I think in this area it could have been more extensive. I really enjoyed the ethical business session but wish we had more that maybe allowed us to understanding banking or any other sort of lecture like session that would have given us more useful skills that we could re-apply in our degree studies and beyond
The Company
The structure was really good, and the sessions seemed to be quite flexible. It was a compact three day insight, but I wish there were more sessions
The atmosphere was great, all students were engaging and the speaker seemed passionate about what they do which gave the program a really good outlook
Since this was a short session it is hard to really expand on this, but I did get the sense of the Natwest group being interested in my development
I found the sessions with the graduates to be really interesting as they gave a different type of insight compared to other speakers who spoke from a more technical side of the program. I would have like to learn more about the summer internship
Meeting the people who work there through the virtual experience was a great way to understand the company culture
I think this event really grew my interest in the RBS graduate program which I knew comparatively little prior to this event
Everything Else
N/A
I wish there were more opportunities to network with other students that were in the insight week experience, because of the super short sessions it was quite hard to reach out and communicate
Could have been better through some sort of networking 101 sessions or just allowing students to connect with one another on a random basis to bond and learn more about the program together
Yes, I learned a lot about the volunteering opportunities that are very much a part of the RBS and natwest group culture
Yes I would recommend this to someone who is interested to particularly work within the Natwest group, but not for general insight into banking
