The Role
Very nice and complete internship, despite the remote-working circumstances. Well done to the team in charge!
The Bank makes sure that, both the new comers as well as more senior people create a good and healthy working environment. Very easy to ask questions, get help as well as adding value and getting recognition for it.
Superb guidance by my supervisor, I felt that he wanted to make me reach my next professional and personal level.
Relatively busy, keeping up with all the new information you have to digest during the first stage of the internship.
Enough to make me feel that I was making a change in the bank. Team-working was also great and vital for such role.
University acts as the underlying infrastructure of the knowledge base that we bring to the internship. However, many more skills will be developed during this internship, such as Data Science, Modelling or Artificial Intelligence.
The Company
Coming back to how easy it is to ask for help and get recognition for good work, I have not encountered yet a person with whom I did not enjoy talking or learning from.
Again, great work to the organising team, despite initial worries of the remote working, the placement was natively as useful, insightful and meaningful as a regular, in person one would have been instead.
You will feel valued at the Bank and that you are an important piece of the future at Deutsche Bank. Economic, resource, time and personnel wise the Bank devotes much power to the intern or new comer.
Working from home
Given that you work hard and give value to the company, as well as help create a positive environment, you will be on the radar of DB.
The Culture
Again, DB has carefully selected the new candidates, and they follow the same curious, nice, social and caring philosophy in all areas of the bank.
Worked from home given the COVID situation. Socialising was a bit harder but DB made sure to place and organise events to overcome that difficulty.
Worked from home due to COVID-19.
Great mentor and manager who wanted me to get better and become a better professional and individual.
