The Role
It was a incredibly insightful and enjoyable experience where I have gained so much knowledge and understanding and feel better prepared after my time there.
The colleagues in all my projects have been more than lovely and helpful people, both inside and outside of the work place. They have always made me feel well integrated as part of the team.
My supervisors have been very helpful and understanding people that are always there to push me to do even better.
It all depends on the project or task at hand but most times, there was a good balance to the business.
There was a surprising amount I could do and achieve as a placement year student and in many cases, it felt like I was always just another team member rather than a placement student.
I have gained valuable knowledge and skills from my experience and time here and I will always be grateful for, it will definitely help me in my degree but also in my working life afterwards.
The Company
All of my projects has very fun team members who always uplifted the atmosphere of the office environment.
It was very well developed and carried out throughout my time there. You could tell it has been well planned from the start.
It made sure that there was no distinction between us or other employees as it was just as much responsibility as it was the care given to us. This really helped to make me feel like I had as much importance as an employee would have but also expected to perform just as well, which I appreciated.

I have secured a graduate role which I am beyond grateful for as I would love to continue my working career here once I graduate university.
The Culture
There were a lot of incentive and opportunities to get involved and socialise with your team and beyond throughout Accenture. They made sure that particularly for placement, there were always social events to attend!
As it is located in central london, it is not the most budget friendly option to socialise around, particularly as a student, but there are always areas where you can find deals available.
There are quite a few pubs and bars around central and the location of Accenture’s London office at Fenchurch Street makes it quite accessible to any location you need to get to in central within 30 mins. Most clubs are also quite close in central.
There are charity days, breakfasts, dinners, sports clubs, LGBTQ+ club, mental health club, and a lot more which means there’s always an abundance of activities to get involved in outside of work!
